Mini Camp

Camper hanging out with friends on the field at Camp Arrowhead.

Mini Camp serves as an introduction to camp life. Targeted toward younger campers, boys attend activities together with their cabin groups, sampling a variety of what Camp Arrowhead has to offer. They’ll experience council fire, an overnight campout, and evening games like Capture the Chicken.

Unlike longer sessions, Mini Campers won’t choose their own morning activities or choice blocks, but they’ll still get to enjoy favorites such as blacksmithingarchery, and art.

This session is intentionally small to ensure our youngest campers receive the highest level of support and have the best possible first camp experience.

Session 1

Campers have fun during Arrowhead Adventures at Camp.

This two-week camp is perfect for first-time campers or boys still getting used to camp life. Campers select their own morning activities and choice blocks, building skills and confidence as they explore. Projects are simpler than in later sessions, giving boys a chance to try new things and learn at a comfortable pace.

Session 1 includes all the best parts of camp — council fire eveningsArrowhead Adventures, and skill-building in areas like survival skillswoodworking, and archery.

Session 2

Older Boys take part in a Sunday Service Project at Camp.

Campers can sign up for either two or three weeks during Session 2. While similar to Session 1, this session offers more opportunities for boys to advance their skills and tackle more challenging projects. Whether it’s long-range archery, a complex blacksmithing project, or mastering a new craft, Session 2 encourages growth and deeper engagement.

Campers will also take part in overnight camping tripscouncil fires, and another exciting Arrowhead Adventure.

Three-week campers may stay for Maker Camp as a fourth week.

Maker Camp

Camper forges a Knife at Maker Camp at Arrowhead.

Do you have an older boy who loves using tools, building things, and creating with his hands? Maker Camp is designed just for him. This session is for more mature campers who are ready to dive deeper into the craft and process of making— from blacksmithing and knife making, leatherworking, and flint knapping to woodworking and toolmaking.

Expert instructors join our experienced summer staff to provide high-quality, hands-on instruction. Campers focus on detailed projects, learning advanced techniques and taking pride in their craftsmanship.

This session is extremely limited to ensure each camper receives the best possible guidance and attention.
